Pro-Tharuhat protesters torch Kailali police posts
DHANGADHI: Two police posts in Kailali district have been torched while a bomb was planted on a ground by pro-Tharuhat agitators on Monday.
According to Madhav Chaudhary, spokesperson of Tharuhat Struggle Committee of the district, they set ablaze the CHhotki Paliya Police Office in Pawera VDC and the Rampur Police Office in Ratanpur of the district.
SP Bikram Bahadur Chand, Head of District Police Office, informed that the detail information regarding the incidents is awaited.
Likewise, a bomb went off in an open area around 100 metres away from Mukesh Complex in Lamki Bazaar of Lamki Chuha Municipality-2 in the district on this morning.
Police said that the blast, however, did not cause any destruction.
