Property worth Rs 350,000 stolen in Baitadi
Baitadi: Property worth around Rs. 350,000 were stolen from three different shops in Dilasaini Rural Municipality of Baitadi district on Saturday night.
According to Baitadi District Police Office (DPO), an unidentified group broke into the shop belonging to Hari Nath at Pansera and took off with various properties and cash worth Rs 150,000.
Similarly, Property worth Rs 125,000 including cash were stolen from the mobile shop belonging to Dhaniram Oda and Property worth around Rs 66,891 including cash were stolen from the grocery and liquor shop belonging to Keshav Koli.
The locks of the shops were broken by the intruders, who made off with the valuables under the cover of the night, according to police inspector Gindra Bogati, at the Baitadi DPO.
Meanwhile, further investigation into the cases are underway, police said.
