BHOJPUR: Property worth around Rs 650,000 was gutted in a fire sparked in a cotton factory in Itahari Sub-Metropolis-5 in Sunsari district on Monday morning.

According to police, the Green Cotton Factory caught fire that sparked from a cotton-making machine.

Fire has completely destroyed machines, cottons and furniture, said owner Kiran Ghale of the Metropolis.

Police with the help of locals doused the fire.
