KATHMANDU: The Muslim community in the country is celebrating the EId-ul Fitra on coming Sunday.

The government has announced a public holiday on the occasion. In a month-long Ramadan (Roja) festival, the Muslim fraternity mainly keeps them refrain from consuming food from dawn to dusk.

The festive celebration is concluding on Saturday. Eid is also the festival of breaking the fast.

On this occasion, central Haj Committee Chair Taj Mohammed Miya has extended Eid Mubarak (greetings) to the entire Muslim community.
