Paudel accuses UML of trying to fragment unity

Damauli, May 9

Senior Nepali Congress leader Ramchandra Paudel today accused the CPN-UML of trying to fragment national unity.

Addressing a mass gathering of the party in Damauli, Paudel charged that the UML was being unnecessarily stubborn for its partisan interest bypassing national integrity and unity. He claimed that Nepali Congress was trying its best to take the disgruntled Madhesi forces into confidence. He claimed that NC was the only force in the country capable of resolving all sorts of political problems facing the state.

Paudel argued that the youths didn’t have to leave the country for foreign employment if agriculture, tourism and hydro resources were properly utilised here.

Another central member of the NC Minendra Rijal urged all the people to vote for his party in the local level polls. NC central member Govinda Bhattarai, NC Parliamentary Party Secretary Dhurba Wagle, National Planning Commission’s former Vice-chairperson Jagadishchandra Pokhrel, Byas Municipality NC candidate Baikuntha Neupane, among others, claimed that development in all nooks and corners was possible only with the NC’s victory.
