KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party's Chairman Kamal Thapa has nominated 27 central office-bearers, including six chairmen and five general secretaries, in the party on Friday.

Thapa, who was elected the Chairman from the general convention in February, named the office-bearers today.

Deepak Kumar Bohara, Rajeev Parajuli, Buddhiman Tamang, Tanka Dhakal and Ramchandra Raya are chosen as vice-chairmen of the party, according to a statement issued by the RPP.

Likewise, Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan, Rajendra Lingden, Dhawal Shamsher Rana, Jayanta Chand and Sunil Bahadur Thapa got the responsibility of general secretaries.

Thapa nominated Uddhav Paudel as treasurer and Roshan Karki, Sushil Kumar Shrestha and Bhuwan Pathak as spokespersons.

He made some other nominations -- four joint general secretaries, six assistant general secretaries, one assistant spokesperson and treasurer each -- also.

The Central Committee is yet to get a full shape with three other positions still vacant.
