Retired army donates for village development
LAMJUNG: A retired British Army has donated Rs. 4,00,000 for the development of his birth place.
Navaraj Ghale (53), who hails from Ghale Gaun- a propsed village for SAARC Model village for Rurual Tourism, has donated the amount for the development and social cause of the place.
The donation will be used to make an idol- in memory of the last Ghale King Klapoklaja Kle and for the development of school as well as Aama Samuha.
He recently returned to the village, two decades later, to perform the funeral rituals of his parents according to the Gurung community.
With an interest in sports, he has also committed to build a basketball court in the near future.
