The overnight landslide in Thabang-5 buried houses and livestock sheds; two others were injured and a search for the missing continues.

The death toll from a landslide in Rolpa has risen to three, while nine people remain missing after torrential rain triggered the disaster in Thabang Rural Municipality-5 on Wednesday night.
The landslide buried houses and livestock sheds in Kotalbara, killing 18-year-old Shanti Pun Magar, 60-year-old Kamal Bahadur Pun Magar and 71-year-old Manrakhi Pun Magar, according to Nepal Police.
Nine people remain missing: 40-year-old Jun Kumari Pun Magar, nine-year-old Ashim Pun Magar, six-year-old Ashok Pun Magar, 75-year-old Dal Bahadur Pun Magar, 80-year-old Ajambar Pun Magar, 78-year-old Bal Bahadur Pun Magar, 72-year-old Lil Bahadur Pun Magar, 71-year-old Mani Pun Magar and 67-year-old Hastakala Roka Magar.
Police said the search for the missing is continuing with the involvement of security personnel and local residents. A team including the district's security chiefs has also reached the site.
Two people, 22-year-old Himal Pun Magar and 25-year-old Sanjay Gharti Magar, were injured in the incident.
The landslide occurred amid continuous rainfall and buried six houses, according to the initial police assessment. The settlement is near the Rolpa-Baglung border and lies about 21 kos from the district headquarters, according to local officials.
The search operation is continuing as authorities assess the extent of the damage and look for those still missing.
