Royalists behind blasts, says Home Minister
Biratnagar, January 30:
Home Minister Krishna Prasad Sitaula today said explosions in some districts can not disrupt
the CA polls.
Speaking to journalists at Biratnagar airport this evening, he said, “Royalist forces have detonated bombs in some districts.”
When asked how the armed forces in Tarai would be treated before the polls, he said, “The government will not remain a mere spectator in the face of criminal activities and will deploy security forces under the legal parameters.”
Sitaula also admitted that the security situation in the country was in deteriorating.
Efforts will be made to strengthen the security situation till the polls, he said.
He said the government would hold talks with the agitating forces in Tarai.
