SAPTARI: The Saptari District Police Office on Sunday arrested two persons for running illegal home-made liquor production business.

The police team raided the domestic moonshine production centres and confiscated around 1,000 litres of illegal liquor and 2,000 litres of raw material.

Police raided the residences of Bishwonath Sah and Mahendra Sah in Jamunimadhyepura-1 during which the authorities also seized cooking utensils used to make liquor and machines.
