JHAPA: Normal life has been affected in eastern region today due to the general strike enforced by Limbuwan National Revolutionary Party in nine eastern districts across Arun.

The Limbuwan Party has enforced shutdown in the region demanding eastern nine districts across Arun to be named and demarcated as Limbuwan province.

The strike has affected operation of short as well as long route vehicles, industries and factories.

The party has publicly stated that the general strike would be peaceful and decent.
