One has heard of marksheets with candidates’ name misspelt or with wrong roll numbers on them or marksheets with sundry other typos. But, one marksheet, with no marks assigned to the candidate, certainly takes the cake. To the stupefaction of students, teachers and others alike, Suman Kumar Singh, a student of Advanced Learners Himalayan Boarding School in Jaleshwor, was awarded his marksheet of this year’s SLC examination sans marks.The name of the candidate and the roll number appears on the marksheet, however, the marks are missing. According to the school, this is a glaring example of negligence on part of the examination control office, Sanothimi.
