SAPTARI: A police team arrested an Indian citizen along with smuggled silver from Kunoli chowk of Rajbiraj on Thursday night.

Sumit Kumar Mehta,17, a resident of Rajnagar-3 in Madhubani district of India was arrested during a regular security check, according to District Police Office, Saptari.

Mehta had hidden 100 tola of silver in his pant pockets, said inspector Suraj Khadka.
