Stir to be peaceful

JHAPA: CPN Maoist, Socialist Forum Nepal, Sadbhawana Party and Federal Limbuwan Party Nepal, which have been agitating against the agreement among the four major parties to federate the country into six provinces, have agreed to keep their agitation peaceful and disciplined in Jhapa. At a discussion held at the initiative of Dialogue Group Secretariat Jhapa, agitating parties, DAO Jhapa and parties in the government inked a deal to keep the protest programmes peaceful and disciplined. The agitating parties have agreed to issue directive to their cadres to make the upcoming protest programmes, including the general strike, peaceful. The parties have pledged to allow vehicles of the press, Red Cross, diplomatic missions, and vehicles carrying daily essentials to ply on the road without ant obstruction.
