Pokhara:

The Pokhara Chambers of Commerce and Industries (PCCI) on Wednesday called off its general strike, which was to be extended here for an indefinite period.

The Pokhara CCI had announced the extension of the strike after some businessmen were injured in a scuffle with members of the Gandaki Truck Entrepreneurs Committee (GTEC). The strike was called off after an agreement was reached to conduct a fair probe into the incident, CDO Bimal Prasad Dhakal said.
