DAMAULI: A teenager was electrocuted while fishing in a river nearby his home in Bandipur Rural Municipality-4 of Tanahun district on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Bishal Thapa (18) of Bimalanagar in Tanahun.

Thapa breathed his last on the way to Laxmi Hospital Dumre, according to Inspector Rajan Rayamajhi at Area Police Office Dumre.

The body has been sent to Damauli Hospital for an autopsy.
