Nepal Teachers’ Association-Nawalparasi shut schools in the district on Tuesday, as some teachers got hurt in a brawl with district education officers over the distribution of teachers’ relief quota on Monday. President of the teachers’ association Mohan Sharma, Kashinath Pathak, Bal Bahadur KC, Dharma Dutt Bhusal and Pimlal Bhattarai were injured in the brawl. Teachers held a meeting at the District Administration Office but no agreement was reached. — HNS
