Police have arrested three persons on the charge of selling illegal marijuana on the cover of flower pots shop in Triyuga Municipality-12 of Udayapur district, on Saturday evening.
The arrested have been identified as Pramila Sahani, Rajkumar Sahani (55) and Laxman Sahani (20), all three of Lahan Municipality-17 in Siraha currently residing in Triyuga of the district.
Police acting on a special tip-off that the trio has been conducting an illegal operation of selling marijuana under the guise of Cement Flower Pots Shop raided the centre owned by Pramila Sahani in Triyuga, informed Superintendent of Police (SP) Bhim Bahadur Dahal, at the District Police Office, Udayapur.
Police also seized four-kilo grams of marijuana from the site.
All three have been detained for further investigation, informed SP Dahal.
