SARLAHI, OCTOBER 9

Police in Sarlahi have arrested three youths, including two Indian nationals, with 117 bottles of Onrex, a banned pharmaceutical drug in Nepal, during a surprise check in Lalbandi Municipality.

According to Sarlahi District Police Office Spokesperson DSP Saroj Rai, the trio was apprehended from an inner road section of Nawalpur, Lalbandi-1, while riding on a motorcycle with indian registration no. BR 06 CV 9985. The team led by Police Sub-Inspector Bharat Sah intercepted the motorcycle and recovered 117 bottles of Onrex (100ml each) from their possession.

The arrested individuals have been identified as 18-year-old Prince Kumar Yadav of Tribhuwan Nagar, Bramhauri Rural Municipality-4, Sarlahi; 20-year-old Krishna Kumar Yadav, son of Bipin Rai; and 17-year-old Kishan Kumar Sah, son of Shambhu Sah, both from Basantpur village under Sonbarsa Police Station, Sitamarhi District, Bihar, India.

DSP Rai said the trio has been remanded to police custody for seven days by the Sarlahi District Court for further investigation under the Narcotics Control Act.
