The fight broke out during a meeting of the council of Jigadwa Belbichhwa VDC in Rautahat district. The three are undergoing treatment at the Gaur Hospital. Superintendent of the hospital Dr Ram Shankar Thakur said the three were out of danger.
Rautahat in-charge of the CPN (Maoist) Ashok Jayaswal accused the MJF cadres of launching an assault on his party activists.

Meanwhile, Maoist cadres Rajdev Patel alias Pradeep and Rabindra Patel alias Dhiraj were handed over to the police today on the charge of killing Shambhu Sahani and Shyam Sundar Sahani of Basantpur Patti village development committee in Rautahat district two years ago.
Pradeep and Dhiraj hacked the two to death with a spade, said the murdered youths’ brother Bindabasini Sahani, adding that when the police did not take action against the Maoist cadres even after the CPN-Maoist signed a peace treaty with the government, he and his family members caught hold of them while they were undergoing treatment at the Gaur hospital and handed them over to the police.
