SIRAHA:

A group murdered three members of a family in Raghopur-9 of Siraha district on Friday night.

Siraha district police office said the gang killed 28-year-old Lalita Devi Sahu, her seven-year-old daughter Urmila Kumari and five-year-old son Saroj Kumar. A preliminary investigation of police suggested that the group entered the house through a tunnel. Lalita’s husband Dhaniklal is in Malaysia. SP Mingmar Lama said a detailed report of the incident was awaited. — HNS
