GAUSHALA: Police have arrested three persons carrying four hand-made guns from Bardibas, Mahottari on Friday.

According to Deputy Superitendent of Police at Area Police Office Bardibas, Prabin Pokharel, the arrestees were identified as Bed Bahadur Hamal and Tanku Malla of Bardibas Municipality-14 and Lekh Bahadur Kalikote from Bardibas Municipality-3.

Police arrested Malla and Pokharel in possession of three hand-made guns in the vicinity of Sagarnath Forest Development Project while Kalikote was nabbed from his residence.

The police made the arrests acting on a tip off that the trio were active as criminals in the area. The convicts are in custody at the Office while further investigation is underway, Pokharel informed.
