BHIMDUTTANAGAR: Three children of a single family died after a fire broke out at Punarbas Municipality-1 in Kanchanpur district on Tuesday.

The fire occurred in the house of Sarita Khadka at Shiva Mandir area, killing her three children—11-year-old son Arjun, 8-year-old son Kiran and 5-year-old daughter Priya—the District Police Office, Kanchanpur informed.

Sarita and her son Rohit are safe, police added.

It has been learnt that the fire started abruptly from the kitchen of the house.
