Three Rautahat youths murdered

Rautahat, March 17:

Three Nepali youths were killed at the Dharaukhar area on the Nepal-India border last night.

According to police inspector in India’s Dhaurakhar police station Prahlad Sharma, a gang of seven criminals murdered Kapil Dev Mahato Kushawaha, Dukha Prasad Mahato Kushwaha and Gopi Das Tatma of Sarmujawa-7, Rautahat district. The gang also looted cash and goods from the three youths, he said.

The three youths were returning home in a train from Rishikesh in India, police inspector Sharma said. “They got off the train in Ghodasahan at 9:00 pm and headed home. They were attacked in Jamuniya village of Dharaukhar, two kilometres south of the Nepal border,” police inspector Sharma said.

CDO Durga Prasad Bhandari confirmed the murder.
