Three abandoned children belonging to the same family from Budhinanda Municipality-5 of Bajura district, have been rescued by a Kathmandu-based child care centre.

After acknowledging the published story, the organisation Anath Aasahaya Bal Sudhar in Kathmandu came forward and took the responsibility of the three siblings promising them of accommodation, nutrition and education as well.

Following the demise of their father, as he succumbed to cancer, their mother had remarried abandoning the three children. The report had shed light on the kids' plight after which we rushed to rescue the children, shared the chairperson of the organization, Ramesh Dev Sunar.

The rescued children are three boys of ages 5, 3 and 2 years. The three children had been living with their step-mother Thuma Damai, who too had been struggling to make ends meet and were living hand to mouth.
