KATHMANDU, MAY 14
Vehicular movement has been suspended along sections of the BP Highway and the Hilsa–Simkot road, citing flood risk and ongoing construction.
According to Police Headquarters, traffic on the Khurkot–Nepalthok–Katunjebensi section of the BP Highway has been closed daily from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am since last week due to possible flooding along the Kavre–Sindhuli stretch.
In Humla, the Hilsa–Simkot road section has been fully closed at Chyaduk in Namkha Rural Municipality–2 for construction works. Police said the road will remain shut until May 16 due to landslide risk along the Chyaduk–Chyachhara segment.
