Two minors have been arrested on the charge of raping a middle-aged woman in Bara disrict.
According to police, the arrestees are 15 and 17 year olds, but no other information has been released.
The two have been accused of sexually assaulting a 56-year-old woman who was sleeping in her animal shed at around 11:00 pm on Saturday in Adarsha Kotwal Rural Municipality-1 of the district.
Police arrested the duo the very next day after the victim filed a complaint at the police office, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajesh Thapa, at the District Police Office.
Thapa added that the Bara District Court had placed the two in judicial custody for five days for further investigation.
Although the incident occurred on July 10, police only revealed details on the case today.
