Siraha Police have arrested two persons along with illegal homemade firearms and its bullets from Godiarwa of Sukhipur Municipality-4 on Saturday afternoon.
Police arrested Kummudin Raen (24) and an 18-year-old youth from Banniya in Aurahi Rural Municipality-2, along with a homemade semi-automatic pistol and five rounds of bullets in their possession.
A team of police deployed from Police Post, Silauorwapachhwari, arrested the duo during the regular checking of vehicles. During the checking, the police discovered the firearm from the duo who were riding a motorcycle with Indian registration number BR 32 AM 3778.
The police are further investigating the case, said police.
