BAITADI: Two girls drowned in a local rivulet in Baitadi on Wednesday.

The deceased have been identified as Madhavi Joshi (15) and Radhika Joshi (15) of Kataujpani-9 in Bhauleli village, SP Mohan Pokarel of the District Police Office, Baitadi informed.

They were the students of Rauleswor Secondary School.

Pokharel said that they were found dead in the rivulet at around 7:30 pm yesterday.
