JANAKPURDHAM: Two persons were killed after the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a bus in Dhanusha district on Sunday afternoon, police said.

Biker Shrawan Yadav and pillion rider Ishwar Yadav, both aged 20, died on the spot in the incident. Passenger bus (Na 4 Kha 1769) heading toward the west along the East-West Highway hit their motorcycle at Birendra Bazaar, Charnath Ganeshman Municipality of the district.

The Yadav duo were heading toward the opposite direction when the incident took place, according to the District Traffic Police Office.

Their bodies have been brought to the Janakpur Zonal Hospital for postmortem, police said.
