DAILEKH: Two persons were killed in a tractor accident in Dailekh on Tuesday.

Ferrying construction materials for a local drinking water project, the tractor with registration number Lu 3 Ta 1552 was heading to Naumule from the district headquarters when it met with the fatal accident at Dhitaha of Narayan Municiplality.

The victims have been identified as Indra Bahadur Thapa (56) and Jyoti Rana (36) of Toli VDC.

According to the District Police Office, 52-year-old Laxmi Prasad Koirala has sustained injuries in the incident. He has been admitted to the District Hospital for treatment.
