Two paraded for dumping accident injured in bush

District Police Office Saptari today made public two persons who were arrested for dumping a person who was critically injured in an accident into the bush with the motive of hiding the accident.

The arrested are bike rider Mahananda Yadav, 28 and pillion rider Jaya Prakash Yadav, 19. The Yadav duo had thrown Nabakant Jha after Jha was critically injured after their motor bike hit him. Police arrested both of them from their house. As per SP Mukesh Singh, Jha, a teacher was riding his bicycle at around 8:30pm on Friday when a speeding motorbike hit him and injured him critically.

To hide the accident, Mahananda and Jaya Prakash had taken Jha one-and-a-half kilometre away and thrown him into a bush in a lonely place.

A woman, who happened to hear the man’s voice, had called people.
