KATHMANDU, MAY 26
Two siblings died after a cooking gas cylinder leak triggered a fire at their home in Jaynagar, Suddhodhan Rural Municipality-5, Kapilvastu, on Sunday night.
The District Police Office reported that 25-year-old Shiva Kumar Yadav and his 18-year-old sister Sonam Yadav suffered critical burn injuries after a fire erupted the moment they opened the gas regulator while cooking. Both succumbed to their injuries en route to the hospital, police added.
The cause of the fire was also confirmed in the preliminary police investigation.
