BHAKTAPUR, FEBRUARY 19

Chairperson of CPN-UML and former prime minister KP Sharma Oli has urged government employees and security agencies to hold the May 13 local level elections in a free and fair manner.

Inaugurating a municipal hospital built by Suryabinayak Municipality at Jagati today, he said employees and administration should be assisted in holding election fairly. He urged party cadres to prepare for the elections.

On a different note, Oli argued that the ruling alliance's inaction and indecision on MCC has botched up foreign relations. He reminded that the UML was not allowed to pass the MCC deal when it tried to table the proposal in the Parliament. Now, the ruling coalition is not able to table it in the Parliament, he added.

Similarly, he called party leaders and cadres to return to the mother party. He viewed that they were misguided and made to leave the UML.

The UML chair said his party would come to power after polls.
