UML Dallakoti elected as chief of Chitwan District Coordination Committee

CHITWAN: CPN-UML Krishna Kumar Dallakoti and Muna Shrestha have been elected as the Chief and Vice-Chief of  the Chitwan District Coordination Committee on Wednesday.

Dallakoti garnered 11 votes while his closest rival Nepali Congress Bharat Adhikari mustered 3 votes.

Similarly, UML Muni Kumari Shrestha clinched vice-chief of the Chitwan District Coordination Committee. Shrestha bagged 11 votes as her nearest rival Tika Dahal collected 3 votes.

According to Assistant Election Office Gambir Ghimire nine-member comprises of UML and were all elected.

The members are Khila Kumari Sinkhada, Lila Devi Pokharel, Sita Pun, Gunu BK, Krishna Prasad Adhikari, Krishna Raj Gurung and Chudamani Mahato.

It has been learned that two members of CPN-Maoist Centre cast their votes to UML in today's District Coordination Committee.

Likewise, Bharatpur Metropolis Mayor Renu Dahal and Madi Municipality Mayor Thakur Prasad Dhakal voted for UML candidates.
