Top leaders of CPN (Maoist Centre), CPN (UML), and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have decided to form a small-sized cabinet.

After a meeting at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar, the top leaders decided to materalise a new alliance by forming a new cabinet led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.

According to the PM's secretariat, Prachanda was holding a meeting with the President Ram Chandra Paudel while preparations were underway to change the current cabinet and form a small-sized cabinet on Monday itself from the new coalition.

Prime Minister and Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli, RSP president Rabi Lamichhane along with top leaders attended the new alliance meeting.

Upendra Yadav from Janata Samajbadi Party and CK Raut of Janamukti party are also expected to join the new alliance, sources shared.
