RAUTAHAT: A man has been critically injured after he was shot in head in Bishrampur of Rautahat in the wee hours of Wednesday morning

Police identified the victim as Ram Ekwal Yadav (42), a local resident. He was rushed to the Hetaunda-based Chure Hill Hospital for treatment.

The unknown assaulter(s) opened fire at Yadav through a window of his room when he was fast asleep, the District Police Office said.

Superintendent of Police Yagya Binod Pokharel of the DPO said police looking for those involved in the attack.
