LAMJUNG: An unidentified man was found dead on the Marsyangdi River in Chyanpata of Lamjung Sundarbazar Municipality-9 in Lamjung district on Monday.

The deceased appeared to be in his 30s, according to Sub-inspector Himal KC at the District Police Office.

After seeing the body, shepherds had informed police.

The body has been sent to the District Community Hospital at Beshisahar. Postmortem, however, is yet to be carried out.

It is yet to be ascertained if the body was dumped in the river after murder or the man committed suicide.
