BIRGUNJ: Dhurmus Suntali Foundation, which shot to prominence for construction  of integrated settlement post-earthquake in Gorkha, has entered  Tarai-Madhes to strengthen national unity and harmony.

The foundation’s  chairman Sitaram Kattel said in  press statement, that politicians’  wrongdoing had weakened unity among the people of Tarai. “My foundation  will focus on eliminating illiteracy, child marriage and inequality  prevalent in the Tarai”, added Kattel. Kunjana Ghimire said that two  films made by her foundation to increase awareness about child marriage  and dowry would be screened in different places of Parsa.

The foundation informed that 50 per cent of the work on child-friendly integrated settlement in Bardibas, Mahottari, has been completed.
