‘Unity, need of hour’
PHIDIM: Former speaker and deputy leader of CPN-UML Parliamentary party Subash Chandra Nembang on Monday underscored the need of participation of all parties for effective implementation of the newly promulgated constitution.
Speaking to journalists at district headquarters Phidim of Panchthar on Monday, Nembang, who arrived in the district in the course of Mechi Tourism Promotion Campaign, urged all the party leaders to unite for the statute’s proper execution.
He said even those parties, leaders and communities, who were not satisfied with the constitution, should join hands as implementation of the constitution posed abundant possibilities.
“The Nepali Congress and agitating Madhesi forces should be more constructive in this hour,” he said.
Nembang said the concerns of Madhesi forces had not been properly addressed yet as the leaders opted for foreign visits to settle their internal problems, instead of focusing on constitution amendment from the House itself.
