KATHMANDU: Of the 136 local levels, the counting of votes is underway at 135 local levels of eight districts in Province 2, said the Election Commission.

According to the recent update by the Joint Election Operation Centre, under the EC, the counting of votes is ongoing in 135 local levels.

The final phase of local level elections could not be held in Rajbiraj Municipality-15 as a ward member candidate from Rastriya Janata Party Nepal died on September 16. The polls have been postponed to September 21 in the Municipality.
