UPDATE: First phase elections vote counting begins

KATHMANDU: Vote counting has begun for the first phase polls to elect representatives for the lower house of the Federal Parliament and State Assemblies held on November 26, 2017.

As per the preliminary vote-count that began earlier today, the left coalition is comfortably leading the race with the Nepali Congress and alliance struggling to catch up.

The table below presents the in-progress vote count for the 32 districts that went to polls in November, to be updated as we receive verified numbers.
