BIRGUNJ, APRIL 12
Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden urged the people to vote for the right candidates in the local polls slated for May 13.
Addressing his party's gathering in Birgunj, Parsa, Lingden stressed the need to elect the right persons in leadership positions.
"If we fail to elect the right persons, the unemployment will escalate and people will continue to suffer," he added.
Lingden flayed the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and the CPN-Maoist Centre and argued that these parties had done nothing for the country's development and prosperity. He accused the major parties of turning the country into a factory for producing unemployed youths. "Out of the 30 million population, five million youths work in Gulf countries.
Given such a condition, how can the country develop?"
Lingden asked.
Lingden came down heavily on the Madhesi parties and said that Madhesi leaders had done nothing for Madhes and Madhesi people. He urged the people to vote for his party and its candidates to give a way-out to the country and people.
Lingden accused the ruling parties of looting the country in the name of republicanism, democracy and secularism.
