DAMAULI: Two women with their infants were seriously injured when a bus collided with a tractor in Baireni, Tanahun on Friday.

Police said they have identified the injured as Sarita Sunar (30) and her baby and Pavi Devi BK (24) and her baby from Byas Municipality-5.

It was said that they were injured as the tractor (Ga 1 Ta 2935) fell some 10 metres off the road and it turned turtle as the bus (Ba 1 Kha 9066) collided with it coming from the opposite direction.

Sunar and her baby are being treated at the Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara, while BK and her baby are being treated at Ratnahari Hospital, police informed.

The drivers of the bus and the tractor have been arrested, they informed.
