KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, who is also the chairperson of the Special Committee on Supervision, Rehabilitation and Integration of the Maoist combatants, today directed the technical committee to harness the tasks.

Speaking during a meeting with the members of the technical committee, PM Nepal said that he was eager to accomplish the task of rehabilitation and integration of the Maoist combatants at the earliest.

Indra Jit Rai, a member of the technical committee, said that the PM had assured them that the next meeting of the committee would approve the three-month work plan proposed by the technical committee for the purpose.

A few days ago, the technical committee had proposed its work plan for the supervision, integration and rehabilitation process of the cantoned Maoist combatants. The special committee had extended the term of the technical committee by three months.
