KATHMANDU: The UCPN-Maoist’s Standing Committee meeting at the party’s headquarters in the capital on Wednesday saw the party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal tabling a political document for deliberation.

Today’s meeting dwelt on the possibility of their demands being addresssed by the recently appointed High-Level Political Mechanism (HLPM), said the party spokesperson Dinanath Sharma, adding that the issue of integration of the PLA combatants into the national army, the party’s ongoing agitation and its organisational structure would be other major issues on the agenda.

Top brass Maoist leaders including Mohan Baidya, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and Narayankaji Shrestha and secretary Post Bahadur Bogati expressed their opinions in the meeting
