KATHMANDU, MAY 1
Kathmandu was relatively quiet on Saturday, the third day since valley-wide prohibitory period, in a bid to contain Covid-19 spread, commenced.
To ensure effective implementation of the prohibitory measures, Armed Police Force personnel have been deployed across the capital as the 15-day lockdown period enters third day today.
Also seen in these pictures are on duty workers at the site of newly inaugurated Dharahara tower.
Nepal has been been witnessing an increasing number of freshly reported COVID-19 cases wherein just today cases in excess of 5500+ were reported nation-wide for the second consecutive day.
