National women boxers sparring at Basantapur Durbar Square in a protest against violence and discrimination against women, in Kathmandu, on Monday.
Women from different walks of life have been rallying in protests demanding an end to violence and discrimination against women.
A large number of social activists and people have been demanding swift justice against the culprits(s) of Bhagirathi Bhatta's rape and subsequent murder case in Baitadi.
Meanwhile, the activists are also protesting against a proposed law that will require women under 40 to get the consent of their family and local leaders to travel abroad, especially to the Middle East and Africa.
