KATHMANDU, APRIL 29

As the second wave of coronavirus is gradually taking its toll in Nepal, Oxygen plant operators are preparing to increase their production capacity to meet the rising demand of oxygen for COVID-19 patients.

Oxygen support is essential in the fight against the COVID-19 infection as some patients' healths may deteriorate to the extent of requiring addition oxygen supply.

Recently, Nepal has been reporting coronavirus infections in excess of 4000 each day with the death-toll also gradually increasing.

Here are a few snapshots captured by photojournalist Skanda Gautam at an Oxygen Plant for The Himalayan Times, on April 29.
