The gathering was held at the premises of a local school to inform people about dissolution of the House of Representatives and calling of the mid-term polls. Addressing the multitude of people, yet again, Prime Minister Oli repeated his motives behind dissolving the Lower House of the federal parliament and maintained his protestations against the opposing faction of the ruling party.

PM Oli stated that his government has been working for development and prosperity of the nation. However, the Prime Minister remarked, dissenting members of the Dahal-Nepal led splinter group could not see the nation progressing, and as such, attempted to obstruct government's functioning. He accused the leaders of bringing instability into the equation.

He went on to claim that those responsible for the rape and murder of Bhagirathi Bhatta of Baitadi would be apprehended anyhow.

Top leaders of the NCP faction including Minister Bishnu Paudel, Minister Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, Minister Lekhraj Bhatta, and Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel were present at the programme.
